We stand up for our rights and safety!
It is unthinkable but a bitter reality that the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden deliberately puts our family with three young children in danger and obstructs our legal process and position.
Financial interest above safety
Our home was found unsafe by the municipality. The municipality then deliberately concealed this and removed it from the file! In the meantime, we receive a letter stating that we can safely live in the home.
After discovering this by chance and now after several independent expert investigations it appears that the house was indeed wrongly declared safe by the municipality and the file is missing! The house has never been safe.
To date, the municipality has refused to acknowledge and rectify this and take its legal responsibilities, but has left us in an unsafe home out of its own (financial) interests.
We live as a family between the building props and emergency beams and have been held hostage in a nightmare for over four years in a cunning conspiracy in which we are systematically crushed, our lives are destroyed, we are financially exhausted and as a result we have nowhere to go!
Everyone is looking the other way, from the city council to the National Ombudsman!
With five minutes to twelve and the condition of our home deteriorating, I fear we will have to be rescued from the rubble during the coming autumn storms.

Calamity October 18
On the night of October 18, 2024, we fled our home because the emergency supply partially collapsed due to pressure from the upper floors. A real nightmare that we were always so afraid of. Emergency services arrived after which we were evacuated to an emergency location.
On the advice of the constructor, more props have been added. This makes safety at least equal to the situation before the collapse and emphasizes that safety cannot be guaranteed without calculations.
In other words, the municipality is putting us back in the same (now proven) unsafe situation. So we are just waiting for the next calamity…
Demonstration October 9 Horse Market Vianen
Our demonstration on October 9, 2024 during the annual Horse Market in Vianen in front of the town hall, where we draw attention to our safety and the abuses of the municipality.
Demonstration September 26 Meerkerk
On September 26, 2024, we demonstrated as a family in front of the town hall in Meerkerk where the council meeting took place. We asked for attention for our submitted letters to the council members.
The Municipality has legal responsibilities regarding safety and a duty of care towards the citizen, but does not fulfill these. The municipality firmly maintains the unjustified safety declaration from 2020 despite multiple experts indicating that this is unjustified and the home is unsafe.
In order to try to persuade the municipality, we have asked in the letter below whether we may remove the emergency facility under their responsibility if they continue to declare it safe without justification.
The municipality responded anonymously that it would no longer communicate on this subject. The emergency provisions have of course not been removed.
A report has been filed with the Public Prosecution Service against the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden, the mayor, all aldermen and several civil servants for criminal offences such as forgery, fraud and the removal of evidence.
